What’s the quickest way to memorize a chapter?
Listen to the chaptersong you are working on throughout the day.
You can do other things while you are listening—you don’t have to focus on the words—but be sure the volume is loud enough that you can hear the words if you want to.
I’m not familiar with your tune. How will I learn the chapter if I don’t know the tune?
Just listen more often. The more you listen, the more you will become familiar with the tune. One day you will discover that you have learned the whole chapter.
When I have learned the song, will I be able to recite it to others, or will I only be able to sing it?
When you have learned it well, you should be able to recite the words without singing the tune.
How long will it take me to memorize a whole chapter?
That depends how many times you hear the chaptersong.
We usually need to hear a song repeated about 100 times before we learn it well.
Do I need to read the text while I am listening?
No. You can listen while you are doing other things.
I memorized a chaptersong several months ago, but I am starting to get rusty. How do I re-learn it?
That’s easy! Refresh your memory by just listening to the chaptersong several times. That should help remove the cobwebs from your memory.
I can’t sing along with your recordings. How can I learn them?
You don’t need to sing along. Just listen!
